Does the school district use RoundUp?
Attention to the use of RoundUp in public schools has increased due to a lawsuit settled in another state. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) is the authoritative body that approves such chemicals. TDA includes the active ingredient in RoundUp on its approved list for Texas schools.
However, given the increased attention to this topic, LISD no longer uses this product.
