Employee Benefits

Leander ISD offers a comprehensive employee benefits package. Please view each of the following links by clicking on the image or the name. After viewing all the information, please click the arrow to continue at the bottom of the page.

Please note: If you would like to learn about LISD’s benefit options directly from the District Benefits Specialist, you will need to attend a Wednesday virtual benefits orientation. The other available time windows are to turn in paperwork and take your badge picture and are not intended to answer lengthy questions covered in the online material. If you have specific benefits questions after reading the online material, you may contact the Benefits Specialist at 512-570-0137 or [email protected].

IMPORTANT: Newly hired employees will need to enroll in LISD benefits within 30 days of their start date (first paid day of work).

You can start your online benefit enrollment after your New Hire Orientation has been completed and your paperwork has been submitted and processed by Human Resources.

Important Information to Review

Compliance Videos

These videos must be completed during orientation, prior to employment:

  • Standard Response Protocol Video
  • Seizure Training
    • This training is for campus personnel only. Campus personnel are required by law to take this training one time. Click the provided link and then click the “On-Demand Training Available” link to start the course. Once completed, print/save your certificate and keep it in your records. If you already have a certificate you do not need to take the training again.

Annual Compliance Videos

The following videos are required annually for all employees and must be completed during orientation, prior to employment unless you have been hired for a position but do not start until the beginning of a new school year. All employees will be expected to complete them in the fall. If you choose to do them now, you will be expected to repeat them:
