All calls are confidential, and the caller’s identity will remain anonymous.
Leander ISD lives by our 10 Ethical Principles. Because of the importance of exemplary ethical practices, we want you to have a safe way of telling us if you have concerns. We contract with Lighthouse Services to provide an anonymous ethics and compliance hotline for all employees of Leander ISD. The purpose of the service is to ensure that any employee wishing to submit a complaint anonymously can do so without the fear of retribution.
Complaint Topics
Complaints may cover but are not limited to the following topics:
- Ethical violations
- Unsafe working conditions
- Poor quality of service
- Sexual harassment
- Discrimination
- Alcohol or substance abuse
- Fraud
- Conflict of interest
- Theft and embezzlement
- Violation of the law
- Falsification of contract, reports or records
- Wrongful discharge
- Internal controls and weaknesses
- Vandalism or sabotage
- Theft
- Conduct violations
- Threats
- Bribery or kickbacks
- Improper conduct
- Violation of company policy
- Misuse of company property
Please note that the information provided by you may be the basis of an internal and/or external investigation into the issue you are reporting and your anonymity will be protected to the extent possible by law by Lighthouse. However, your identity may become known during the course of the investigation. Complaints are submitted by Lighthouse to the district designee for investigation.
