The invitation will be sent to the email address you provided in your application. You will have 72 hours to complete the interview before the link expires. (please be sure to check junk or spam email throughout this process).
- Step 3: If you are approved for hire, a welcome email will be sent to the address provided in your application. Please follow the instructions in this email for the next required steps, which include reviewing the LISD and Substitute Employee Handbooks, completing the substitute orientation and compliance videos, and scheduling a fingerprinting appointment if you do not already have fingerprint records on file with TEA. Fingerprinting and background checks are in accordance with TEA. We do not accept clearance from any other agencies. A separate fee applies to fingerprinting and is to be paid for by the applicant.
- Step 4: An email notification from [email protected] will also be sent to the email that is listed on your application to complete the New Employee Forms online. Once you receive a final email notification that all your forms are completed you will be invited to bring your I9 verification docs to LISD Central Admin Office at 204 W. South St., Leander, TX at the designated time provided in the welcome email.
- Step 5: Hired substitutes are required to attend the next available in-person training that is offered. The sub office will provide you with a date and time of the scheduled training. This is the final step of the hiring process. Please note, until you attend training you will not be able to sub in any assignments.
