THE ISSUANCE OF $727,210,817 OF BONDS BY THE LEANDER INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SCHOOL FACILITIES, THE NECESSARY SITES FOR SCHOOL FACILITIES, BUSES AND VEHICLES AND THE IMPOSITION OF A TAX SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

THE ISSUANCE OF $33,298,077 OF BONDS BY THE LEANDER INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT AND THE IMPOSITION OF A TAX SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

Proposition No. C

THE ISSUANCE OF $11,662,346 OF BONDS BY THE LEANDER INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR RENOVATIONS TO THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTERS AND AUDITORIUMS AT EACH HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS AND THE IMPOSITION OF A TAX SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at 12 p.m. to canvass the election results.

Naming Nomination Windows Open for Science Materials Center & Special Education 18+ Transition Services Buildings January 10, 2025
Please submit nominations for two buildings that will form a joint facility complex – one for the Special Education 18+ Transition Services program and the other for the Science Materials Center. The deadline to submit nominations for either building is Feb. 3, 2025.

With the community’s support of the 2023 Bond, Leander ISD broke ground on the site of the future new warehouse facility for the Science Materials Center on Friday, Dec. 6. in a joint ceremony with the district’s new 18+ Transition Services building.

Leander ISD passed a bond election to address the needs of growth and safety. LISD serves more than 40,000 students across 42 schools and 200 square miles. The district is expected to grow by about 1,200 new students each year.
