Parents as Teachers is a free early education program provided by Leander ISD for families with children ages birth to 5 who are interested in learning the best ways to ready their child for school success. These services are also offered to expectant parents.  Families must live within the boundaries of the following elementary schools: Bagdad, Camacho, Faubion, Giddens, Knowles, Mason, Plain, Pleasant Hill, Reed, and Whitestone.

If your child’s first language is Spanish and would attend one of the bilingual campuses (Bagdad, Knowles, Reed, Whitestone), your family also qualifies for Parents as Teachers.
